He went on to complete one year of advanced trauma surgical training at Aria Health Hospital in Philadelphia, PA, where training was centered on the reconstruction of complex foot and leg fractures. Bass received extensive training in reconstruction of the foot and ankle as well as diabetic limb salvage. He attained his post-graduate medicine and surgical training at Dekalb Medical Center. He received his medical education from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. Bass is an attending physician for the Dekalb Medical Residency Program in Atlanta.
